It's not a big deal to build a house if you have enough money, and it is almost impossible if you haven’t.
We got a plot of land five years ago. We didn't have a place to live in. And we couldn't do anything with it. We didn't have a car. We (with a little son and a trimmer) used to go to our land by crowded bus. We had little money and we made only a foundation for our future house.
Years were passed. My husband’s mum decided that it is good for her to have a country house. It was obvious that we owed her a lot, we wanted to thank her. My husband's dad found time and built a barn on our plot. My mother got married; her partner had an experience in building. We got a daughter and thanks for maternity leave I had a little time for calls to buy materials and to coordinate all processes. A crisis helped us to buy concrete blocks and a roof (prices went down).
And now we have done with a great job. We have built our house! Yes, it isn't ready. Yes, it is not big. But there is a house on our land! Two years ago it was impossible for us to build a house, but now with efforts of our relatives we have a house.
If you can't do it yourself do it together with other people!
